Job Description

Concept Plus is seeking a Project Director/ Director of Information Technology for a Federal project

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage, track, and report federal project activities with respect to schedule, cost, and risk and key milestones in accordance with established business processes and direction from the Government's point of contact.
  • Organize the IT Facilities program so that it can be in operation at all times to facilitate on-the-spot audits of each project by the Government's point of contact. 
  • Responsible for taking timely corrective action to limit the impact of any problem that may arise.
  • Provide the personnel, planning, and coordination support necessary to accomplish all work requirements.

 

Required Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 7 years’ experience as a manager, having at least limited corporate authority to make on-site decisions.15 years’ experience in management of payroll systems, telecommunications systems engineering, software systems engineering and network operations control and customer support operations preferably in a similar environment.
  • 7 years’ experience concurrently managing personnel in payroll activities, network engineering, programming and customer support.
  • 7 years’ experience in supporting IT systems like those required to support the government centers (i.e., center networks, security engineering, software development, VOIP, and maintenance, and LAN Based PBXs on a national level).
  • 7 years of successful experience managing computer services such as those envisioned by this task for client organizations
  • 3 years’ experience in the implementation and management of Physical Security and Access Control systems at multiple locations.
