Job Description

We’re excited to invite a Senior Technical Project Consultant to join our growing Technology Projects team. This senior role is key in managing and executing complex technical projects, including system implementations and strategic IT configurations for a wide range of clients. The position is based in the DC, MD, VA area with occasional onsite requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical implementations/configurations of client infrastructure (new laptop setups, 365 migrations, SharePoint online migrations, new firewall configurations and installations, office moves, network switch setups, wireless access point setups, etc.
  • Lead and own entire technical projects from start to finish
  • Provide senior-level management of projects and technology tasks throughout to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline
  • Perform as an escalation point for the technical project team
  • Work with the Project Coordinator to develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals
  • Coordinate client and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation

Preferred Experience:

  • 7+ years of recent hands-on IT technical support experience, this experience must include both end-user support and systems administration experience. Higher-level network engineering experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and configuration  
  • Ability to lead and handle migrations to the Microsoft 365 platform 
  • Experience and ability to configure firewalls, especially SonicWALL firewalls
  • Experience with and ability to configure network switches
  • Ability to clearly articulate and explain technical issues to non-technical staff
