Role Overview: We're seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our team remotely. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the design, architecture, and functionality of our software, helping us to solidify our position as leaders in the industry.
What We're Looking For:
- Full stack developer with 5+ years of experience architecting and designing Java and JavaScript applications
- Proficiency in database development, including MySQL, NoSQL, and related technologies
- Expertise in Spring framework (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud), AWS services, ReactJS, and ExtJS
- Strong understanding and experience with Agile methodology and Scrum processes
- Previous experience collaborating with offshore development teams
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and thrives in a remote work environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Additional Skill Sets:
- Experience in architecting, designing, and implementing high-performance, scalable, and reliable software
- Ability to effectively collaborate and mentor development teams
- Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, RDS, CloudWatch, SQS, DynamoDB, etc.
- Proficiency in setting up and scripting test and production environments
- Experience with Jenkins, Sonarqube, JMeter, image processing, and platform integrations
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team to research new frameworks, tools, and technologies
- Develop features and address bugs in our software products
- Improve development and deployment practices in collaboration with the team
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues in the production environment alongside the customer success team
- Work with the team and product manager to understand requirements and plan development for new features
- Conduct periodic deployments, data exports, and migrations
